  1. Get up earlier than usual.
  2. Don’t just drink water, keep a refill bottle by your side all day.
  3. Check-in with friends, not for a full-length discussion, just a check-in about their weekly endeavors they told you about.
  4. Breathe easy.
  5. Drink coffee.
  6. Go for walk around the block, shoulders back, head up, and hands out of your pockets.
  7. Stretch your muscles.
  8. Write down your thoughts or feelings (you can chuck it away after if you feel silly)
  9. Make a plan for the day. Make it easy.
  10. Eat some fruit, preferably fruit that requires effort to peel like an orange.
  11. Read an article on Medium.
  12. Talk to your camera (again delete later if you feel silly).
  13. Tidy your room or house.
  14. Cut down on your outgoings, maybe cancel a subscription you rarely use.
  15. Sketch something on a notepad with a pencil or pen (yes they still exist)
  16. Sell any unwanted things on eBay — take the time to take photos, write descriptions, research universal prices, and clean/store the items somewhere safe until they are bought.
  17. Clear out your phone from photos, texts, apps, emails, and anything else that’s just sitting there without benefit.
  18. Tell your parents you love them.
  19. Show gratitude towards your life and past experiences.
  20. Sit in the garden, or the park, and close your eyes and listen.
