How to clear Brain Fog
1 min readOct 13, 2020
- Get up earlier than usual.
- Don’t just drink water, keep a refill bottle by your side all day.
- Check-in with friends, not for a full-length discussion, just a check-in about their weekly endeavors they told you about.
- Breathe easy.
- Drink coffee.
- Go for walk around the block, shoulders back, head up, and hands out of your pockets.
- Stretch your muscles.
- Write down your thoughts or feelings (you can chuck it away after if you feel silly)
- Make a plan for the day. Make it easy.
- Eat some fruit, preferably fruit that requires effort to peel like an orange.
- Read an article on Medium.
- Talk to your camera (again delete later if you feel silly).
- Tidy your room or house.
- Cut down on your outgoings, maybe cancel a subscription you rarely use.
- Sketch something on a notepad with a pencil or pen (yes they still exist)
- Sell any unwanted things on eBay — take the time to take photos, write descriptions, research universal prices, and clean/store the items somewhere safe until they are bought.
- Clear out your phone from photos, texts, apps, emails, and anything else that’s just sitting there without benefit.
- Tell your parents you love them.
- Show gratitude towards your life and past experiences.
- Sit in the garden, or the park, and close your eyes and listen.
